Kate—your Teacher & Guide
Reiki found me in 2016 while in the depths of postpartum depression after having my daughter.
“I’m going to a Reiki training next week, do you want to join?” My good friend asked me after I had just gotten done crying again. “Is it like a psychic thing?” I responded. “Not sure, but it sounds cool!”, she replied enthusiastically.
Little did I know, it would alter my life so completely. From that day on, I continued learning and becoming more and more passionate about the healing ability of Reiki. It quickly became something I used with my family, like when my daughter couldn't sleep, when she wasn't feeling well, and the same for my spouse. Over the years, it has become a normal part of how I care for and energetically protect myself, and the people I love.
A decade later, I am now an ICRT-certified Usui/Holy Fire® III, Karuna Reiki®, and New Earth Reiki Master Teacher.
Ten years is a long time to live with a practice. I've watched my relationship with Reiki change as I've changed. I've used it at home, taught it, shared it with people I love, and offered it to people I had only just met in group settings and at hospitals.
And now as a seasoned teacher and practitioner, I realize I don’t want to hand you Reiki I, Reiki II, and Master certificates as quickly as possible.
I want you to have time to live with each level and practice it enough that you know what it feels like in your mind, body, spirit, and your own life.
I want you to use Reiki when someone you love can’t sleep, when you’re worried about something that hasn’t happened yet, when your own life feels heavy and you don’t know what else to do.
And on completely ordinary days, too. Bless your food and drink, clear the energy of your living spaces, send Reiki to your pets while you cuddle, or to your favorite tree. Let it be a ritual to deepen your experience of everyday life in the best way.

We’ll allow ourselves to steep in each level of Reiki before moving into the next, giving the practice time to settle into our physical and energetic bodies and become part of the everyday rhythms of our lives.
You don’t have to live in Western North Carolina to be part of this.
This cohort is rooted in the mountains of Western North Carolina, but it is intentionally structured so women can travel from across the country to participate.
Between trips, we stay connected.
1:1 mentorship can happen virtually. Integration Zooms bring the whole cohort back together. Book club and GroupMe continue wherever you are, so the practice stays connected to your actual life rather than only existing when we're all together in Asheville.
Hikes, nature walks, and any additional local gatherings are optional for women traveling from outside the area and are not required for Reiki certification.
Plan to travel for the anchor experiences.

What your investment does not include
Your $7,997 investment covers the cohort, Reiki trainings, mentorship, included experiences, and retreat accommodations outlined on this page. The following expenses are your responsibility.
A few things to plan for separately.

Airfare, mileage, rental cars, ride shares, and other transportation to Asheville and retreat locations are not included.

Transportation between airports, lodging, retreat venues, and other gathering locations is your responsibility unless an itinerary specifically states otherwise. We can coordinate carpools when possible.

Meals included in overnight retreats will be clearly listed in your retreat itinerary. Travel-day meals, optional outings, and meals not specifically identified as included are your responsibility.

Lodging during the two overnight retreats is included. Any accommodations you choose to book before or after a retreat, or for other in-person gatherings, are not included.

Travel insurance is not included, but I strongly recommend purchasing it for both overnight retreats, especially if you are flying or booking additional non-refundable travel. Look for coverage appropriate to your circumstances, including trip cancellation/interruption and illness.

Shopping, spa services, extra activities, personal supplies, and anything you choose to add to your time in Western North Carolina are yours to cover.

frequently asked questions A few things you may want to know before deciding whether this 8-month Reiki cohort and mentorship is right for you.

No. You can enter without previous Reiki training. We begin with Reiki I and move through Reiki II and Reiki Master during our time together.

I don't want to move you through Reiki simply to get you to the next certificate. We allow time to steep in each level, practice it, ask questions, and experience Reiki in your actual life before moving forward.

The mentorship includes ICRT certified Reiki I, Reiki II, and Reiki Master training, along with Reiki Shares, mentorship and integration between trainings. You will be officially registered and recognized as a Reiki practitioner and master through the International Center for Reiki Training.

We open in May 2027 with a private cave experience at Asheville Salt Cave and you will receive your Reiki manual.Reiki I and Reiki II are taught during a 4-day, 3-night immersion.
June-August is time to practice, integration, and connect with our cohort through hikes/nature walks, our GroupMe chat, zoom integration time, and our book club. You will also get 1:1 mentorship time with Kate to ask questions, practice, and get personalized support (whether that be for your own Reiki business and/or personal life).
In September, we will build our own drum to utilize in our Reiki practice.
October-November is more time to integrate, practice, share, and connect.
December, we meet for another 4-day,
HapBe Valley with horses, Reiki, meditation and sound. Summer brings our drum-making ceremony at House Boheme. In late fall or early December, we return to House Boheme for a four-day, three-night Reiki Master retreat. The following January is devoted to post-Master integration and closing.

Our gatherings are the anchors. Between them, we continue through Reiki Shares, integration Zooms, 1:1 mentorship, book club, hikes and nature walks, and our private GroupMe community.

Meals are included at the FINAL 4-day, 3-night immersion in December. You will need to bring your own meals and snacks to all other gatherings/immersions.

The multi-day Reiki immersions and drum making are foundational parts of the experience, so you should plan to be present for those. All others, you do not need to be, but you are definitely encouraged to do so to get the maximum benefit!

We begin in May 2027 and move through 8 months together. After Reiki Master training in early December, the following January is reserved for post-Master integration and closing.

Specific dates will be decided upon after registration closes, as it will be based on the cohort’s availability.

Your enrollment reserves one of a limited number of spaces in the cohort. Because this is my business, way of making a living, and I make non-refundable commitments to retreat venues, facilitators, supplies, and other experiences based on enrollment, payments become non-refundable after a 14-day grace period.
Within 14 days of enrolling: You may cancel in writing and receive a refund of payments made. Non-refundable payment-processing fees will be deducted.
After 14 days: Payments are non-refundable. If you choose a payment plan, withdrawing from the cohort does not cancel your remaining scheduled payments.
If you miss an experience: Refunds and prorated credits are not available for missed trainings, retreats, mentorship sessions, or gatherings. If a serious illness or emergency arises, please contact me as soon as possible and I will let you know whether an alternative arrangement is possible.
The overnight immersions: No refund. I strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that covers retreat cancellation or interruption, illness, and any non-refundable travel expenses for both overnight retreats.
If I cancel the cohort: If I cancel the full program, payments made to me will be 100% refunded.

The year has a real ending, but it doesn't have to be the end of your relationship with the community or your Reiki practice. Continuing opportunities for graduates will be shared as they become available.
