The Four Month Reiki Path
This Reiki learning option is a four-month mentorship designed around your individual Reiki journey rather than a fixed cohort calendar.
Your four months begin with your private 1-1 Reiki training, either Reiki I & II or Reiki Master, and continue through a season of practice, mentorship, Reiki shares, our Reading Circle, and integration.
Because each training is private and one-to-one, start dates are scheduled individually throughout the year.
However, there is one date we hold together.
Each September, the women moving through The Reiki Path gather at a beautiful retreat space for our Reiki Drum Making Ceremony, where we create our own drums, learn about Reiki drumming together, and spend a day in community.
Depending on when your individual four months begin, this day retreat may fall toward the beginning, middle, or end of your mentorship.
Your training is individual, your mentorship is personal, and throughout the year, there are places where our paths meet. Choose your path below.
THE MOUNTAIN PATH
Four months to learn Reiki, and then actually live with what you’ve learned.
Your path begins with a private, one-to-one Reiki training at my home, tucked away in the Blue Ridge Mountains just outside Asheville. There is no group classroom and no rushing through a curriculum. The training belongs entirely to you, your questions, your pace, your practice, your initiation.
Bring your lunch, come comfortable, and settle in for our days together.
Then, for the the next four months, I stay alongside you as Reiki moves from something you learned in a training into something you know how to trust and use in your actual life. You’ll have mentorship when questions arise, women to practice alongside, Reiki shares, our Reading Circle, and space to explore what begins opening through your relationship with the practice.
And each September, the women moving through The Reiki Path come together for our Reiki Drum Making Ceremony, a day of ritual and community where you’ll create a Reiki drum of your own to carry forward into your spiritual practice.

THE IMMERSIVE PATH
Your initiation becomes a retreat of its own.
We begin with a private weekend together at The Houses at Atavi, a secluded nature sanctuary tucked into 75 wooded acres in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
You’ll arrive to your own waterfront cabin and step away from ordinary life for a few days devoted entirely to your Reiki initiation. Your training is completely private and personalized to you, with spacious time to learn, receive, practice, ask questions, rest, and let the experience settle into your body.
Between our training sessions, expect trails to wander, water to kayak, an outdoor soaking tub, and space to actually hear yourself again.
For the four months that follow, I remain alongside you through 1:1 mentorship, Reiki shares, our Reading Circle, shared practices, integration, and community as you begin living with what you received.
Each September, the women moving through The Reiki Path also come together for our Reiki Drum Making Ceremony, a beautiful day of ritual and connection where you’ll create a Reiki drum of your own to include in your spiritual practice.

Over the four months that follow, we’ll meet for three 60 min private mentorship sessions to explore your Reiki practice, intuition, discernment, working with others, questions, and whatever is unfolding along the way.

We’ll gather online, at a local cafe, Asheville Botanical Gardens (wherever we decide based on your availability) every other month to talk about what the words are awakening and how they intersect with our Reiki practice.

Your drum becomes both an instrument for your Reiki practice and a physical reminder of your initiation.

The Reiki Path has a flexible start date between June and September 2027. Your four-month journey begins with your private Reiki training and unfolds from there.

No matter when you begin, you’ll be invited to our annual Reiki Drum Making Ceremony & Day Retreat at a beautiful venue in Western North Carolina in September, where the women moving through The Reiki Path gather for a shared day of ceremony and community.
ANOTHER FORM OF EXCHANGE
Partial trades are welcome to be proposed.
For some private trainings and Mountain Path spaces, I am open to considering a partial exchange of services or goods toward tuition.
Perhaps you are a massage therapist, photographer, artist, bodyworker, chef, designer, maker, or someone carrying a skill that might genuinely fit into my life or work!
A trade is never assumed or guaranteed. If an exchange feels mutually supportive, we will agree on the value and details before registration.

Reiki found me in 2016 while in the depths of postpartum depression after having my daughter.
“I’m going to a Reiki training next week, do you want to join?” My good friend asked me after I had just gotten done crying again. “Is it like a psychic thing?” I responded. “Not sure, but it sounds cool!”, she replied enthusiastically.
That invitation became the beginning of a practice that would change my life and, eventually, the work I would share with others.
After that first training, I kept learning. Reiki quickly became part of everyday life in our home: something I offered my daughter when she couldn’t sleep or wasn’t feeling well, my spouse when he needed care, and myself as I navigated motherhood and the demands of daily life. Over time, it became a familiar way to pause, listen, and tend to myself and the people I love.
Throughout the past decade, I have continued deepening my practice through further training, personal experience, and working with others. I have offered individual sessions, guided group Reiki experiences, and woven Reiki into Yoga Nidra, and retreats. My background as an elementary teacher also shapes how I teach: with clear guidance, personalization to each learner, room for questions, and respect for each person’s pace.
Today, I am an ICRT-certified Usui/Holy Fire® III, Karuna Reiki®, and New Earth Reiki Master Teacher. What began with a friend’s invitation has grown into a lasting devotion to practicing and teaching Reiki.
You don’t have to know where Reiki will take you.
You may teach, you may bring Reiki into the work you already do, or you may practice at home for the rest of your life.
You only need to know when it is time to begin.

The Reiki trainings themselves are private, one-to-one experiences. I intentionally teach this way so there is room to move at your pace, personalize your experience, ask questions freely, practice together, and allow the training to respond to what is unfolding specifically for you.
If you join the four-month path, your Reiki I & II or Reiki Master training will still be private, while parts of the months that follow will bring you together with the other women in your cohort for shared experiences, including our Reading Circle, Reiki shares, integration gatherings, and our Reiki Drum Making Ceremony Day Retreat.
You receive the intimacy of private training and the community of moving through a season of Reiki alongside others.

Yes. Payment plans are available for both private trainings and the four-month paths, so your investment can be spread out over time.
I am also open to partial trades for services, goods, or creative work that feel mutually supportive. If you have something you would like to offer as part of your investment, you are welcome to propose it when you inquire. Trades are considered individually and must be agreed upon before registration. Partial trades are only considered for private trainings and the Mountain Path.
Because the Immersive Path includes significant outside costs such as accommodations, local brunch, and chef prepared dinner, partial trade availability is a no go.

Yes. Local licensed massage therapists receive a $497 professional rate for private Reiki I & II training. Massage continuing education credit is not currently offered.

The purpose of these four months is to honor Reiki as a spiritual initiation beyond simply receiving a certification, giving you time to live with what you have received while still held in support, practice, and community.

Choose a private training if you want to learn Reiki, receive your certification, and feel comfortable continuing your practice independently afterward. We’ll spend two or three days immersed in the training together, and you’ll leave with everything you need to begin practicing at your level.
Choose a four-month path if you want more time to live with what you are learning. Your certification training is still private and one-to-one, but instead of our work ending there, we stay connected for four months through mentorship, Reiki shares, our Reading Circle, shared practices, and the Reiki Drum Making Ceremony Day Retreat.
The cohort is for the person who wants Reiki to become a practice they are actively living, with a season of support, community, and integration around them.

Our Reiki Drum Making Day Retreat will be guided by Mia Luz of Drumdoula, a ceremonial guide and drum maker who leads us through the process of creating our own drums by hand.
We’ll spend the day in ceremony, working with natural materials to stretch, lace, and bring our drums into form while exploring the drum as a symbol of rhythm, connection, and the heartbeat of the Earth.
Each drum is entirely your own, created by your hands and infused with the intention you bring to it.

Friday — Arrive + Settle In
Afternoon arrival with time to settle into your private waterfront cabin, followed by our first Reiki training session.Saturday — Immerse
Morning Reiki training followed by a leisurely local brunch. We’ll continue our training in the afternoon, with space built in to hike the private trails, kayak, rest, or soak in the outdoor tub. We’ll close our day with a Journey to Your Power Symbol Yoga Nidra experience and a chef-prepared dinner.Sunday — Integrate + Return
Our final Reiki training and integration together, followed by time to enjoy the property before heading home.Across the weekend, we’ll complete approximately 10 hours of private Reiki instruction while leaving plenty of room to receive, rest, and experience the beauty of Atavi.

Absolutely! You do not need to have completed your previous Reiki training with me to continue your path here.

To enter Reiki Master training with me, you must have completed Reiki I & II and have at least one year of experience practicing Reiki since receiving your Reiki II certification.
You do not need to have completed Reiki I & II with me. If you trained with another teacher, I’ll ask about your previous training and lineage to make sure you are prepared for the Master-level work.
Holy Fire® III Karuna Reiki® has additional prerequisites, which we’ll review together before registration.

Your certification may mark the end of our training days together, but it is really the beginning of your relationship with Reiki.
You’ll leave with the practices and tools you need to continue working with Reiki on your own—through self-Reiki, offering Reiki to others, and allowing the practice to become part of your everyday life.
You’ll also be invited into ongoing Reiki shares and opportunities to practice in community, and if you eventually feel called to deepen your training, you are welcome to return for the next level.
My hope is that you leave feeling supported, but also confident enough to begin trusting your own relationship with Reiki.
