Weekend overview
Yoga Nidra & Reiki
Yoga Nidra, a guided meditation often called yogic sleep, leads you into a state between waking and dreaming where your body can deeply rest. And as you rest, Reiki will be given as a powerful energetic support in release, clearing, and transformation.
-
The first part of the course focuses on self-healing, building your personal energy reserves, and learning the history of this beautiful practice.
History & Lineage: Discover the traditional origins of Usui Reiki and its modern evolution into Holy Fire® energy.
The Science of Energy: Understand how Reiki heals, the ethics of energy work, and how to protect your personal field.
Reiki I Placement: Experience a sacred Holy Fire® Placement (attunement) that safely opens your energy channels to the universal life force.
Intuitive Techniques: Learn traditional Japanese practices to scan energy fields, clear negative vibes, and clear your own energy through "dry bathing."
Self-Healing & Client Care: Master the complete hand placements to confidently perform full-body healing sessions on yourself, family, friends, and pets.
-
The second part of the course introduces the sacred Reiki symbols, shifting your practice into a deeper scale.
The Sacred Symbols: Study the Power symbol, the Mental/Emotional symbol, and the Distance Healing symbol, learning their history, geometry, and invocation.
Reiki II Placement: Receive a second high-frequency placement to fully anchor and activate the power of the symbols within your energetic field.
Distance Healing: Learn how to bridge time and space to send powerful Reiki healing to anyone, anywhere in the world, or to situations in the past or future.
Deep Emotional Clearing: Master techniques to use the symbols for releasing old patterns, balancing the mind, and clearing trauma.
Professional Practice: Essential steps for structuring client sessions, managing a Reiki practice, and working ethically as a certified Level II practitioner.
Note: you do not need to be a professional practitioner to join this cohort.

Arrive as early as 11 AM on May 21st. Training begins at 2:30 PM.
Departure is at 11 AM on Sunday, May 23rd.
-
Each woman will have her own private cottage at Firelight, giving you somewhere entirely your own to return to between our shared training and experiences.
Each cottage includes:
King-sized bed
Private hot tub
Private shower
Refrigerator
Stovetop
Microwave oven
If you'd rather share, you may choose to share your cottage and king-sized bed with another cohort member by mutual agreement.
You get to decide what feels best for you: retreat into your own space at the end of the day or share the experience with someone else.
-
Meals are not included during our Firelight immersion, with the exception of a continental breakfast provided each morning.
Each cottage has its own refrigerator, stovetop, and microwave oven, so you'll be able to bring groceries and prepare simple meals in your own space.
You may also choose to order food or explore nearby restaurants during designated meal breaks.
-
Part of what I love about Firelight is that everyone has her own cottage and kitchen space.
Rather than adding the cost of catering to your cohort investment, you'll have the freedom to eat what works for your body, dietary needs, and preferences. Bring food you love, cook something simple in your cottage, order in, or make plans with another woman in the cohort.
We'll provide continental breakfast each morning so you can wake up, make your way into the day, and not have to think about breakfast before training begins.
-
Plan to bring:
Comfortable clothing for long training days, lounging, and resting
Layers for changing mountain temperatures
Walking shoes if you’d like to explore the trails
Swimsuit for your private hot tub, sauna, and creek plunge
Water bottle
Journal + pen
Your own lunches, dinners, snacks, and favorite drinks. Continental breakfast will be provided each morning
Anything you need for simple meal preparation beyond what is provided in your cottage
Personal toiletries + medications
A book or anything else you enjoy during downtime
-
There will be space between our Reiki I & II training sessions to enjoy Firelight and spend your downtime however you need it.
Each cottage has its own private hot tub, and you'll also have access to the sauna, surrounding trails, and the creek for a cold plunge.
Soak. Sweat. Wander. Plunge. Take a nap. Read on your porch. Spend time with the other women or close your cottage door and have a few hours entirely to yourself.
The retreat is intentionally designed with room to learn together and then have space to yourself.
-
No. Firelight will be an alcohol-free retreat.
We'll be spending the weekend learning and practicing Reiki, receiving Placements, and paying attention to our energy, intuition, and experience. I want us to move through that work with clear minds and fully present bodies.

Outdoor Paths: Walking areas include natural dirt, grass, stone, or gravel pathways to communal areas like the pavilion, fire pits, and creek.
Cabin Entries: Cabins feature raised outdoor wooden decks and entryways that typically require navigating steps.
