a deep winter's rest

Yoga Nidra & Reiki

Yoga Nidra, a guided meditation often called yogic sleep, leads you into a state between waking and dreaming where your body can deeply rest. And as you rest, Reiki will be given as a powerful energetic support in release, clearing, and transformation.

This practice will be facilitated by your host, Kate Wargo, a local writer, Yoga Nidra facilitator, and Holy Fire® III Karuna Reiki® Master Teacher.

Forest Bathing & Tea Ceremony

Through restorative yoga and grounding hot stones, your body is given space to soften its grip and lay down what it no longer wants to carry. Woven throughout the experience, Madelyn Ilana’s live violin creates a soundscape to support the unraveling, the exhale, and the remembering.

This experience is led by the owner of West Asheville Yoga Studio, Kim Drye. Kim is also the founder of HereNowYoga. Shas been guiding students through yoga classes, retreats, and trainings since 2011. Known for her therapeutic and restorative approach, Kim creates experiences that support deep rest, alignment, and healing while meeting each person where they are.

Sauna & Hot tubs

Christa Hebal of Asheville Wellness Tours will guide us into the forest as an invitation into return and remembering. Through gentle sensory practices and time spent in relationship with the land, we’ll slow our pace, reconnect with the wisdom of the body, and soften into the rhythm of the natural world. A tea ceremony with snacks will complete this experience together.

Yoga & Live Violin

Throughout your stay, you’re invited to soften into rest through the warmth of the land and the body. Shared sauna access and private hot tubs at each cabin offer space to unwind, reflect, and simply be. Sink into the water beneath the winter sky, warm your bones, and allow yourself moments of peaceful restoration between gatherings.
